Privacy Policy

Summary: Gantry is a macOS app for Apple Silicon. It processes all 3D scene files locally — no file content is ever uploaded. It uses TelemetryDeck for privacy-friendly analytics. No personal data is collected or stored by us.

Who we are

Gantry is developed by Cristian Díaz and Roxana Nagy as a project of Reality check. The app is published under the Apple Developer account of Cristian Díaz, who serves as the contact for privacy matters.

File processing

Gantry converts 3D scene files entirely on your Mac. No file content, asset data, or scene metadata is ever transmitted to our servers or any third party. Your files stay on your device.

Mac App Store

Gantry is distributed exclusively through the Mac App Store. When you download or purchase the app, Apple may process certain data (such as your Apple ID or payment information) under Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store this data.

TelemetryDeck analytics

We use the privacy-friendly analytics service TelemetryDeck (provider: TelemetryDeck GmbH, Von-der-Tann-Str. 54, 86159 Augsburg, Germany) to analyze usage data. The use is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, as we require reliable and efficient tools for collecting app usage data in order to fulfill the contract with you, our customer.

What data is transferred

The data processed by TelemetryDeck is completely anonymized and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about personal information.

  • An anonymized, untraceable user ID (per app installation)
  • Actions defined by the app publisher (e.g., "app launched," "conversion started")
  • A rounded timestamp (to the nearest hour)
  • Device metadata (e.g., system version, app version, device type)
  • Additional metadata defined by the app publisher (e.g., "source format," "output format")

What is not stored

  • No IP addresses (not in logs, not in the database)
  • No cookies or tracking technologies
  • No persistent identifiers that could be traced back to individuals

Data retention

Anonymized analytics data is retained by TelemetryDeck in accordance with their data retention policy. We do not store any analytics data ourselves.

Support requests

If you email us, we only use your details to respond. We do not add you to any mailing list or share your contact information with third parties.

Your rights (EU/GDPR)

If you contact us and share personal data, you have rights to access, correct, or delete that data. To exercise these rights, contact us at cristian.diaz@reality2713.com.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
